Here are some simple changes we have made to reduce our energy use in facility
and vessel operations, and we encourage other businesses to do the same:
- T-8 Fluorescent lighting retrofits
- Use XLERATOR® Hand Dryers which use 80% less energy
- Purchase ENERGYSTAR® rated electronics, appliances, office equipment, lighting,
food service equipment, and other products wherever they are available
- All new photocopiers and printers have duplex and sleep capabilities
- Utilize water conserving fixtures and appliances
- Use of low VOC or ZERO VOC paints and adhesives
- Exclusive use of environmentally friendly cleaning products
